Now I'm in school. I'm taking 14 credits. Working. And in a show. Life is crazy. I am on campus from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 at night. I am so tired of being on campus. Rice and beans from the Crossroads aren't cutting it for me anymore.
I'm playing Janet Van de Graff in this show on campus. So fun. I'm getting a little nervous because my music is pretty difficult. We have a fabulous musical director though who is going to help me big time.
Sometimes I wonder why we like theatre so much. Why do we enjoy volunteering every night of our week to rehearsals and performances? Why do we like dressing up in ridiculous outfits and singing songs about how we feel? Why is that so therapeutic? I don't know. But I love it.
